# Reversi

Avast, me hearties! We be introducing a new game to the PirateRush world called Reversi. This be a game of strategy played by two players on an 8x8 board with 64 identical game pieces called disks. These disks be light on one side and dark on the other. Players take turns placing their disks on the board with their assigned color facing up.

During gameplay, any disks of the opponent's color that are in a straight line and bounded by the disk just placed and another disk of the current player's color will be turned over to the current player's color. The objective of the game is to have the majority of disks displaying your color when the last playable empty square is filled.

Aye, Reversi be a game that requires cunning and strategic thinking. Every move ye make can have a big impact on the outcome of the game. It be a game that be easy to learn but hard to master. We be excited to bring this game to the PirateRush world and see how our players fare in the battle of wits.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://piraterush.gitbook.io/piraterush/future-games/reversi.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
